Welcome to the Sustainable Print Partnership.
The Sustainable Print Partnership (SPP) is a coalition of print production companies dedicated to promoting the use of paper made from wood pulp that is derived from responsibly managed forests.
Founded in California, the Sustainable Print Partnership was created by a group of like- minded commercial print professionals who wanted to find a way to help the environment.
Led mainly be concerns about global deforestation, this group banded together to do more than simply use recycled paper products – they wanted to take an extra step. Not only do we promote the use of paper that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), we are putting new trees in the ground to help replace the very resources used in producing your collateral.
Companies, Advertising Agencies and other entities of all types are turning to the Sustainable Print Partnership to produce their printed collateral because of the public’s increasing demand for responsibly sourced paper products. Using our process along with our label provides a visual cue telling your customers the fiber used to produce your paper and packaging products not only comes from a legal and responsible source, but that you are taking the extra step of planting trees for each project produced.
